"Attainable Amnesty" is a feature-film project I began in January of 2023, adapted from a video game.
"Attainable Amnesty" is the feature-length film I have been working on for over a year, from a 56-page script to a full-sized set facade I built, this project is my way of going all-in on one huge idea.

Initially, I found inspiration for this movie through an indie game I played for free on a game distribution website. The premise was; the protagonist was a prisoner stuck in a cell, with their only source of communication to the outside world being letters. However, there are many problems with this arrangement. Outside the cell, a deadly virus is supposedly killing all of mankind according to the letters being sent to the cell. On top of this, no letters can be written or sent from the prison cell to reply, essentially leaving the protagonist in what you would assume was a powerless position.
This is the basic premise for my film also. Letters from 4 different characters would be dropped down a shoot and read by our protagonist; the prisoner. He would also be delivered various other items (of which I have already made in reality); a console, a 'bug friend', 2 posters, a canvas painting, a framed $1 bill, 5 party poppers and more. Although I could go on all day I will stop here as to avoid any spoilers.

This project is scheduled to be wrapped by Late December 2023, and released sometime in 2024. The crew working on this film consists of me so far, however when production begins I will have a few people helping me with audio and gaffer jobs. The main actor has been selected, however the voice acting roles are more flexible as they can be recorded in post.

Production has taken 6 months so far, but I plan to work well into February of 2024 to finish the final edits and grade the whole film. Although this is a very serious film built on commenting on the absurdity of capitalism, I also want to incorporate comedic elements as to keep the mood from being too flat.
DEVELOPMENT
This next area will be written in retrospect as the film is, as of this publishing, in its final editing stages (4th March / 2o24).
